Dilecta

Founded in Paris in 2005, DILECTA is both a publishing house and a gallery dedicated to contemporary art.

Each year, it publishes around twenty projects, either independently or in collaboration with galleries, museums, or private foundations. These include artist books, exhibition catalogues, and monographs, as well as limited-edition works—prints, multiples, series, or unique pieces—which often serve as the basis for exhibitions held in its dedicated space.

The gallery, which opened in 2015, hosts four to five exhibitions annually. Some are group shows, occasionally curated by guest curators, showcasing the diversity of the artists featured in our catalogue and establishing dialogues with works on loan from other collections. Others are solo exhibitions that reflect our commitment to supporting artists whose approach, themes, or chosen media resonate with our vision.

In recent years, we have placed particular emphasis on promoting artists working on paper, such as Mircea Cantor, Caroline Corbasson, Nicolas Dhervillers, Alice Gauthier, Mathilde Lestiboudois, Eva Medin, Valérie Sonnier, and Claire Vaudey. We remain deeply committed to continuing our support for graphic and paper-based creation.

Since 2016, the gallery has participated in numerous international art fairs, including FIAC (2018, 2019, 2021), ART GENÈVE (2020, 2023, 2024), ART BRUSSELS (2016, 2017, 2018), PARIS PHOTO (2024, 2025), ART PARIS ART FAIR (2018–2025), DRAWING NOW (2022–2025), as well as ARTISSIMA and ART-O-RAMA (2019 and 2022), among others.
