Jonathan Roze
Jonathan Roze entered the art world through graffiti, which he began practicing as a teenager. After studying sociology at the Sorbonne, he focused his thesis on the gallery world and how graffiti artists are perceived by contemporary art galleries.
It was 2011-2012, and this research led him to collaborate with several magazines, including Graffiti Art magazine. In early 2014, Jonathan joined Galerie Le Feuvre, located on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris’ 8th district. In 2016, Franck Le Feuvre and Jonathan Roze joined forces. The gallery then became Le Feuvre & Roze.
At the end of 2024, Franck and Jonathan decided to close the Faubourg Saint-Honoré space. The changing market, which was moving towards increasingly virtual relationships, and the aspirations of the two partners led them to bring their long and successful adventure to an end.
Franck left Paris for the south, at the same time ceasing to be involved in the art world. Jonathan moved to Rennes in Brittany. In 2025, he opened the Jonathan ROZE gallery, first on Rue Leperdit, in a small space, then, in October, on Place du Parlement de Bretagne, an iconic location in the heart of Rennes. In this new space, Jonathan continues to champion some of the artists he represented in Paris, while also embarking on new collaborations. He is building a gallery that reflects his vision, based on scouting and supporting artists over the long term.
