Air de Paris

Founded in 1990 by Florence Bonnefous and Edouard Merino and named Air de Paris, in tribute to Marcel Duchamp, the gallery defends a committed, iconoclastic, multidisciplinary and sometimes ephemeral art. After Nice and Paris, it moved to Romainville, on an industrial site rehabilitated into artists’ residences and art venues, including the FRAC Ile-de-France. Within Komunuma, the two pioneers are pursuing a demanding programme with their own particular fantasy; they are inaugurating the cinema Le Klingon in 2021, and they present and represent artists of all generations.
