Galerie Diane de Polignac
Located in the heart of Saint Germain-des-Prés in Paris, Galerie Diane de Polignac specializes in Post-War and Contemporary Art and Artist Furniture. The gallery focuses on the post-war movements of Abstraction, such as Abstract Expressionism, Color Field, Lyrical Abstraction, Geometric Abstraction and Kinetic Art. In the constant search for “Maximum expression for minimum explanation” (Oliver Debré), we select for you superb works to create the flagship collections of tomorrow.
The gallery also presents Contemporary Artists’ Furniture created exclusively for the gallery: sublime pieces where the beauty of the form linked to the excellence of the manufacture give birth to perennial, timeless and iconic works at the border between Art and Object.
The gallery also has a publishing activity: each exhibition presented at the gallery is accompanied by an exhibition catalog. The gallery publishes the Catalogue raisonné of Gérard Schneider’s work on canvas as well as the Catalogue raisonné of Lois Frederick’s work.
The Gallery acquires and takes in trust works of art and also offers a private brokerage service. The gallery is a member of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires and the Comité des Galeries d’Art.
The Diane de Polignac Scholarship from the Friends of the Paris School of Fine Arts was awarded in September 2014.
