Galerie VU’

After ten years in the Marais, the Galerie VU’ relocated to the hotel Paul DeLaroche in the ninth arrondissement of Paris, offering an exhibition space, a bookshop and a consulting room dedicated to the collectors. As a commercial gallery, the Galerie VU’ is an exhibition and a sell place, and propose a choice of more than 4000 collection’s printings. With six exhibitions per year, the Galerie VU’ offers different readings of photography with thematic approaches, monographic or collective.

The Galerie VU’ identity goes down in a post-documentary current, where it claims two photographic approaches. One enters in autobiography domain with avec Christer Strömholm and Michael Ackerman. Whereas in works like the artists Jean-Christian Bourcart or Ester Vonplon, photography meets contemporary art.

The Galerie VU’ develops a strategy to open herself nationally and internationally, through regular meetings with private collectors, institutions and foundations.
