Opera Gallery
Founded in 1994, Opera Gallery has grown over the years into an important network of art galleries around the world. At the end of 2017, the group had 12 galleries located in Paris, London, Geneva, Monaco, Dubai, Beirut, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Aspen, Miami and New York.
The Paris gallery is located since March 2015 in the heart of the Golden Triangle, a few steps from the Elysee Palace, and is open every day. Collections, new thematic or monographic exhibitions are displayed on 1000 m2 and two levels in this exceptional place: headquarters of the perfume house Roger & Gallet in 1932, the whole of Paris used to flock there to discover the automatons animating the windows as well as the original collaborations with the artists Mucha, Fabiano or Méheut. In 1991, this building with its Art Deco look became one of the top fashion spots thanks to the genius of Gianni Versace who made it the first flagship of its kind. Today, Opera Gallery is giving new life and impetus to this unique space, while respecting its history, to make it the French showcase for its modern and contemporary art collections.
Opera Gallery brings together a prestigious collection of masterpieces, from the Impressionists to American Pop Art, including post-war abstraction and especially free figuration. The group also defends contemporary artists from all over the world, both emerging and established, offering its clientele a multitude of media and artistic approaches.
