Starting Sunday 2025
19 — 25 Oct. 2025
For its 11th consecutive edition, Starting Sunday makes its grand return from October 19 to 25, 2025, kicking off Art Week in the galleries!
Organized by the Professional Committee of Art Galleries and supported by partners such as Art Basel Paris, this autumn gathering once again celebrates the richness and dynamism of the art scene.
Open to everyone, Starting Sunday is a free and public event. This edition brings together 140 galleries presenting 108 solo exhibitions and 32 group exhibitions. On the program: openings, artistic performances, guided tours, and encounters for a full immersion in contemporary and modern art.
As every year, Starting Sunday is structured around Gallery Focuses and neighborhood days, offering the opportunity to explore the richness of the Parisian and regional art scenes.
- Matignon: Galleries of the Matignon Saint-Honoré association will present a shared dialogue on Monday, October 20.
- Marais: Tuesday, October 21 is dedicated to the galleries of the neighborhood.
- Saint-Germain-des-Prés: Galleries will host openings and events on Thursday, October 23.
- Grand Paris and Regions: Numerous events will be highlighted on Wednesday, October 22 and Saturday, October 25.
The Starting Sunday program will be available from the beginning of October in the 140 participating galleries as well as at partner fairs: AKAA, Art Basel Paris, Asia Now, Menart Fair, Moderne Art Fair, Offscreen, and Paris Internationale.
The event also benefits from the support of ten cultural institution partners: Beaux Arts De Paris, Bétonsalon, Fondation Pernod Ricard, Frac Île-de-France, Jeu De Paume, L’Atlas – Groupe Emerige, Lafayette Anticipations, Manufactures Nationales, Musée Picasso Paris, and Musée Transitoire.
For 2025, the CPGA introduces the Public Prize, which will reward the best exhibition organized by a gallery. This initiative aims to put the public at the heart of the event while highlighting a gallery’s work.
All exhibitions can be viewed online as curated routes on our website and through the CUR8 app. Guided tours and commentary by mediators are offered in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Marais neighborhoods via our Eventbrite page.
