Paris Gallery Weekend 2026
29 — 31 May. 2026
This year, 77 galleries participated in Paris Gallery Weekend, which took place from May 29 to 31, 2026.
Free, open to everyone, and with no admission fee, Paris Gallery Weekend was the must-attend event for art enthusiasts and collectors. For three days, the public had the opportunity to explore a unique journey through Parisian galleries, discover exceptional exhibitions, attend exclusive events, and be surprised by inspiring artistic encounters.
Since 2021, the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA) has organized this event, which celebrates the essential role of galleries and highlights Paris’s resurgence on the international art scene.
On the program: opening receptions, discussions with artists, performances, book signings… A rich and vibrant itinerary, designed to bring art to life in a new way.
Zooms: unique thematic tours
Once again in 2026, the Zooms offered eight thematic tours through the galleries, providing visitors with an original perspective on the program:
Zoom Photography (in partnership with the Friends of the MEP)
Zoom Drawing (in partnership with the Drawing Society)
Zoom Sculpture (in partnership with Sculpture+)
Zoom Video Installation/Performance (in partnership with the Wallonia-Brussels Center)
Zoom Emerging Artists (in partnership with the Pernod Ricard Foundation)
Zoom Women Artists (in partnership with the National Museum of Women in the Arts)
Zoom Environment (in partnership with Art of Change 21)
Zoom Modern Art
Partners such as Sculpture+, the Friends of the MEP, and the NMWA supported these programs through tours designed to offer an in-depth curatorial experience. These Zoom sessions also inspired certain guided tours offered to the public.
Cartes Blanches: Collaborative Creation
Launched in 2024, the Carte Blanche program was renewed in 2026: select galleries invited a guest—an artist, curator, or author—to freely design an exhibition or event tailored to their space.
Spokespersons: Unique Perspectives
Four prominent figures from the world of art and culture supported this edition by sharing their personal favorites throughout the month of May:
Xavier Franceschi (Head of the Contemporary Collection at the CNAP)
Camille Morineau (Heritage Curator and Art Historian, Founder of the AWARE Association)
Eva Barois De Caevel (Curator in the Department of Contemporary and Future Art at the Museum of Modern Art – Centre Pompidou)
Frédéric Paul (Curator of Contemporary Collections at the Museum of Modern Art – Centre Pompidou)
Their selections were available on the official website and Instagram.

During Paris Gallery Weekend, several curators from around the world were in Paris from May 27 to 31 to explore the Parisian art scene.
