The Art Week begins in the galleries

Collectors, art lovers and professionals are invited to start the Art Week on Sunday October 15 and to discover 153 galleries!
It is with great pleasure that the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art announces the first edition of Starting Sunday, to be held on October 15, 2023!
On Sunday the 15th, from 2 to 6 pm, 153 galleries will welcome you for our free autumn event, open to all.
Formerly known as Un Dimanche à la Galerie, Starting Sunday promises to be a celebration of art and culture, marking the launch of the Art Week.
Starting Sunday is an ideal opportunity to highlight the diversity of programming offered by participating galleries. Encounters with artists, performances, book signings, guided tours and gallery cocktails promise a rich and immersive experience for art lovers and general public.
The events on Sunday, October 15 and the openings of the following week will be accessible via a map listing the artistic program for the month of October. The map will be available on our website and in all participating galleries, at the Paris + fair and in our partner institutions (Palais de Tokyo, Jeu de Paume, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, etc.).
This link between gallery opening day and the events of Art Week offers visitors a unique opportunity to discover the works of renowned artists and new talents through the key exhibitions of the fall season.
