CPGA-Etant Donnés Prize
Co Organized by the French Professional Committee of Art Galleries and Villa Albertine

The Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA) is delighted to partner with Villa Albertine for the second edition of the CPGA-Etant donnés prize, which is designed to reward a French or France-based living artist exhibiting at Art Basel Miami Beach and its gallery.
The CPGA-Etant Donnés Prize aims to support and highlight French artists on the international scene, by encouraging galleries who participate in the fair to showcase the work of French or France-based artists.
The selection panel of the Prize will be composed of esteemed international curators and collectors, who will review proposals and presentations during a visit of the booths through the fair on Thursday December 7. Please note that the works that galleries apply with have to be on view that day.
The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of $ 15,000, split equally between the artist and the exhibitor.
If you would like one or several French or France-based artists you are exhibiting at Art Basel Miami Beach to be considered for the CPGA-Etant donnés Prize, please send the following information about eligible artists (maximum 2 per gallery) in your presentation to communication@comitedesgaleriesdart.com by November 13, 2023 :
- Name of the gallery
- Name, email and cellphone of the gallery’s contact in Miami
- Name of the artist
- Photo of the artist with the ©
- Number of artworks of this artist displayed on your booth
- Short biography of the artist in English (200 words max)
- Short presentation of the gallery in English (200 words max)
- Visuals of the works to be exhibited with the ©
- A short description of the stand project, mentioning the artist’s works
